We have a partnership with , Edmonton, Alberta enabling graduates from there to advance their studies with QMU in the beautiful city of Edinburgh, receiving an education combining the ideal balance of theoretical and practical knowledge.

Grant MacEwan course: Diploma in Arts and Cultural Management (+ previous degree) QMU course: MA Arts Festival and Cultural Management Level of entry: 40 credits of RPL Additional information: Students who have successfully completed the MacEwan Diploma in Arts and Cultural Management and who hold a relevant undergraduate degree qualification may be admitted into the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ MA in Arts, Festivals and Cultural Management with advanced standing. Students will be granted 40 credits of general pathway credit and will require to undertake the following modules: Contemporary Debates in Cultural Policy/Designing Qualitative Research/Leadership, Governance and Strategy (Not-for-profit)/Fundraising, Development and Finance/Dissertation |
Grant MacEwan course: Bachelor of Communication Studies QMU course: Level of entry: No additional pathway credit but 10% fee discount Additional information: Students who have successfully completed the MacEwan Bachelor of Communication Studies (with either journalism or professional communication major) may be admitted to either of the following ¹û¶³´«Ã½ programmes:
No additional pathway credit will be awarded and students will require to complete all modules in order to be eligible for award. |
Grant MacEwan course: MacEwan Public Relations Diploma QMU course: BA (Hons) PR and Marketing Communications Level of entry: Entry to Year Three Additional information: N/A – students will complete all modules. However: Applicants must have a minimum of 30 post-secondary credits, including a post-secondary English course with a minimum grade of C+. In relation to English language proficiency, this is evaluated through the Office of the University Registrar at MacEwan. All applicants must meet an acceptable level of English language proficiency. MacEwan requires official documents such as high school or post-secondary transcripts or proof of successful completion of standardized language evaluation. |

Please provide your student number (if known), your date of birth, the course you have applied for and the partner College or University that you have studied at. This information is crucial in allowing the University to send you the correct course information, and to consider any tuition fee discounts that may be applicable to you.
Virtual Events
We appreciate that if you are overseas that it may not be possible to attend the University for a visit. Throughout the year we host a number of events online where you can see presentations about a number of our courses, interact with academic staff as well as with staff from the International Office.
